Lunar James was founded as a sustainable jewellery and art brand with an objective to reconnect with ancient and more artisan ways of living.

When her baby boy was born during the height of the full moon in 2018, Dutch-born but London-based Arianne Wijdeveld felt strengthened to pursue a calling that she had felt for almost 10 years. In 2010, she travelled through South America, learning how to coexist with the natural world, how to share, and how to create art and jewellery in a way that connects organic materials with the inorganic. Having been forever changed by this experience, when baby James was born, the love Ari felt filled her with strength and she was propelled to pursue a long-held passion: designing and creating jewellery.
