The brand
Madeleine Holloway is a British independent jewellery designer and maker from the Cotswolds who handcrafts fair mined gold and recycled silver jewellery with a unique, rustic finish. Madeleine Holloway designs their own ready-to-wear collections and also offers a bespoke service, where they specialise in designing one-of-a-kind wedding rings, replenishing existing jewellery, and creating ethical diamond jewellery designs.
The jeweller
Maddy achieved a BA in Jewellery and Silversmithing from The Glasgow School of Art in 2017 where she developed her silversmithing style by experimenting with varying and unique textures. Her four years spent in Scotland led to a strong affiliation with Glasgow and Edinburgh and these cities provide significant inspiration to Maddy's work.
Currently based in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter, Maddy founded Madeleine Holloway Jewellery at her family home in the Cotswolds soon after completing her degree. Maddy is also a talented printmaker and uses printing as a creative tool to inspire her jewellery-making process.

Recycled sterling silver and 9ct yellow gold
As a conscious and sustainable jewellery brand, Madeleine Holloway exclusively uses recycled sterling silver and either recycled or Single Mine Origin 9ct yellow gold in their designs.
Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold
As well as recycled gold, Madeleine Holloway uses SMO gold in her designs.
SMO works with selected accredited mines that have internationally recognised responsibility standards to extract, refine, and sell responsibly sourced gold. This gold can be traced every step of the way, while providing vital social, environmental and cultural support to local communities.
