Sustainably handmade by Pikaya
The brand
Pinar Kaya De Biasio, founder of Pikaya, has a passion for metalwork and minimalist geometric forms. The brand's pieces are characterised by clean lines and unique textures. Pinar enjoys observing the emotions of people around her and shapes them into an art form.
The jeweller
Pikaya was founded by Pinar Kaya De Biasio, a London-based designer and maker of handmade contemporary jewellery. Jewellery is a part of Pinar's heritage—almost all the men in her family are traditional jewellers. As the first female jeweller in a long line of jewellers, she aims to challenge the belief that crafting jewellery is a 'man's job'. Her jewellery career began at the Kensington and Chelsea College in London and her first collection, Positano, launched at Fuorisalone-Milan Design Week.
Pikaya's sustainability promise

Handcrafted by a small business jeweller
Each one of Pikaya's necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings are handmade by Pinar Kaya di Biasio, founder of Pikaya in London, England, UK. All of the brand's designs are handmade to order, just for you.

Ethical production
As a proud advocate of the slow fashion movement, Pinar is determined to build a conscious brand with a low environmental impact. She believes that it is important to produce timeless, quality pieces while respecting people and the environment.

Recycled sterling silver
As a conscious and sustainable jewellery brand, Pikaya exclusively works with recycled sterling silver from the UK, provided by suppliers that have certification of their product’s traceability.

Local suppliers
Instead of using large factories around the world to produce their jewellery, Pikaya works with small family businesses whenever she needs to outsource a service, such as gold plating, which cannot be performed at her studio.
