The brand
Lunaflux was born at the intersection of history and imagination. Taking inspiration from the tactile craftsmanship and alchemic processes of days gone by, Alice O'Neill, founder of Lunaflux, designs and handcrafts her contemporary jewellery collections from her studio set against the Norfolk skyline.
The jeweller
After completing her Jewellery Design degree in 2010, Alice was accepted onto a post-graduate incubation scheme—Design Space, set in Birmingham’s thriving Jewellery Quarter. It was from here that she began to set up her jewellery business.
Alice looks to counteract prescribed mainstreams and fast-living by inviting the wearer to relish in the natural wear of each piece, which can be worn until it manifests a story with every dink and scratch.
Lunaflux's sustainability promise
Recycled sterling silver
As a conscious and sustainable jewellery brand, Lunaflux exclusively uses recycled sterling silver in its designs.
By using recycled silver we don't need to mine for the materials used. By choosing recycled metals we can bypass the exploitation of land, resources and humans.
Handcrafted
Each one of Lunaflux's necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings are handmade by Alice O'Neil, founder of Lunaflux, in Norwwich, England, UK. Many of the brand's designs are handmade to order, just for you.
Sustainable packaging
Each Lunaflux order is wrapped in plastic free and recyclable packaging. In addition to the brand's signature branded boxes, all jewellery is packaged in a cotton pouch.
Made to order
Lunaflux works on a small scale, making precious metal pieces that are made to order, which means they take time to make.
Materials are to be ordered, services like casting are outsourced, jewellery is made, and silver items over 7.8g are sent away to be be hallmarked.
