Handmade by Ines Gerard Cuesta, founder of Ines & Litza, in France.

This product is wrapped in recycled and recyclable packaging, personally made by Ines using cardboard paper pulp.

Pearls & Pomegranates buys and conserves 20 square metres of Colombian rainforest for every order in partnership with Bioconservancy.

Part of Ines & Litza's ELEMENTS collection. ELEMENTS is an homage to the Earth, its mountains, reefs, and all of nature. In this collection, Ines & Litza explores how the elements are not always the same in different cultures. Some cultures consider four—fire, air, water, and earth—while others add metal or wood.

The rings, pendants, and earrings of this collection are sculpted with an irregular texture and gemstones are chosen to reflect colours found in nature: green for the forest, red for fire, and blue for water and air.

Ines & Litza

Contemporary jewellery designer Ines Gerard Cuesta sees jewellery design as a form of storytelling and is driven by the thought of jewellery being more than only a beautiful object. She draws inspiration from her French and Colombian heritage to design and handcraft timeless, artisanal jewellery in bronze, brass, silver, and gold.

Ines founded Ines & Litza in 2020 as an ode to her ancestors, who are memorialised in the rings, pendants, and earrings that make up the brand's collections. Indeed, Litza is an imagined spirit; the indigenous Colombian wife of Ines's ancestral grandfather, whose name was never written but whose lineage is still alive today.

The aesthetic of each piece, influenced by the jewels of past civilizations, as well as pre-Columbian goldsmithing, mixes irregular textures with simple lines. Every piece from Ines & Litza is lovingly handcrafted in Ines's small studio and she completes each stage of the jewellery-making process herself—from carving or forging, to casting and stone-setting.
