The Tears ring captures the moment when ice turns to water. A pear-cut, marquise-cut, or emerald-cut diamond lays across an open band, inspired by melting icebergs and mimicking the falling drops that flow over frosty surfaces.
Due to the gap in the band, there is flexibility in sizing.
Also available with a white topaz solitaire in sterling silver and an optional gold plating
Sustainably handmade by Edward Xú, founder of EDXÚ, and his team in East London.
All EDXÚ orders arrive wrapped in an eco-leather box and an embossed fine paper box. The inside of the eco-leather box is finished in eco-suede fabric to give maximum protection to the jewellery.
All sterling silver, 14ct gold, and 18ct gold used in EDXÚ's designs is recycled or fair mined. 14ct gold and 18ct gold designs are handmade to order just for you, reducing waste and meaning that every design is uniquely created.
Pearls & Pomegranates buys and conserves 20 square metres of Colombian rainforest for every order in partnership with Bioconservancy.
Part of EDXÚ's TEARS collection. This collection is dedicated to the climate crisis, capturing the melting icebergs in Antarctica and their effect on the wildlife living in the area. The shape and structure of the designs takes reference from Antarctic animals’ skeletons, Parametricism architectures, and Chinese calligraphy.
Through TEARS, Edward creates a series of designs in futuristic forms that are embedded with heartfelt and tearful messages. Through the careful selection of materials and gemstones, this is a series of minimalist yet metaphorical designs.
