The brand
Born from a dream to create an environmentally-aware independent jewellery brand that promote slow fashion and conscious buying, Frances Kirk doesn't pretend to make perfect, mass-produced jewellery. Instead, Annie Niekirk, the brand's founder, embraces the handcrafted charm of each lovingly-made jewellery design she personally brings to life in her South London studio.
"Nothing here is made with trends in mind, but with creative and versatile forms that can be worn for decades without going out of style," says Annie. "I really believe jewellery is something to be treasured; Frances Kirk was started to make modern heirlooms."
The jeweller
Frances Kirk jewellery designs are for lovers of craft, tracers of history, and believers in beauty over perfection. Annie founded Frances Kirk in 2020 after completing a BA in Fine Art and an MA in History of Art and her designs are influenced by modernist history.

Handcrafted and made to order
Each one of Frances Kirk's necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings are handmade by Annie Niekirk, founder of Frances Kirk, in London, England, UK. All designs are handmade to order, just for you.
Sustainable packaging
Each piece of jewellery is wrapped in cotton bags that are 100% fair trade and biodegradable.
All other Frances Kirk packaging, including boxes, paper, tissue paper, tape, and cards, are made from recycled materials.
Recycled sterling silver and 9ct yellow gold
As a conscious and sustainable jewellery brand, Frances Kirk exclusively uses recycled sterling silver and 9ct yellow gold in its designs.
Ethical production
Annie is sensitive to the jewellery industry's wasteful and sometimes harmful impact on the Earth. She seeks to be a change-maker and consciously challenges unsustainable practices at every stage of the jewellery production process.

Returns
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase from Frances Kirk, you can request a return within 14 days of receipt. The item must be in its original condition and be returned in the packaging provided. Items that show signs of wear or damage will not be accepted.
You will be responsible for returning the item to Frances Kirk. We recommend sending the item with a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for any lost items or delays. You can request a return by emailing hello@pearlsandpomegranates.com.
